Ekert-Rothholz writes about romance and intrigue, this time in Venezuela, South America. In this painting I sought to capture the passion of the European heroine and her South American lover with the background of the Orinoco River. As in the first two books the base color, in this case green, symbolized the lush vegetation, also provided a simple tone for the fine print on the back cover.
