"Rope Of Gold"- Here I decided to put a hat on the heroine for a change and for the style of the early 1930's. I also decided to add color to the sky to create an atmosphere from which the woman's head projects.  In addition to my depiction of the relationships and family of this third book of the Herbst Trilogy,
I showed the book’s building of trade unions symbolized by the man in the white shirt giving a speech.  This painting is one of my best.
