The couple’s bodies rising out of the water was the perfect setting for this effect. The painting captures the texture of their wet skin and clinging garments. The success of this illustration is due to the models’ expression of passion and romance, as seen in their gestures, especially their sensitive touching and caressing. I painted several covers for this wonderful author,> Shirl Henke, who actually bought this one.
