"Emerald"- Set in the Regency period of England, it was the         sentimentality and compassion that I sought to capture in this romance.  The heroine's expression of innocence and desire matched against the dashing hero's sense of confidence and control is certainly apparent in the expression of the couple.   This was a successful painting and illustration.
