"When The Lilacs Bloom"- The reflected light on the face of the beautiful actress/model, Elan, was perhaps too strong at first, but it worked out well in the painting.  The muted colors of the trees in the background provide a good compliment for the main figure.  I have used this type of background in quite a few of my other illustrations.
