"Shadow Of The Moon"- The author, M.M.Kaye, is one of the earliest most famous romance novelists, whose book cover I had the pleasure of painting.  For this story's consuming romance and intrigue, a British garden on a moon lit night with exotic touches of 19th Century India was suggested.  It is a very romantic setting for an embrace between the British officer and the beautiful English heiress.  The warm light on the couple is intended to highlight them and their exquisite and colorful costumes against the darker tones of the night.s
